Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.the economy of california is just fine....last time I knew, it was like 6th best in the world behind Germany and ahead of India.....largest in the states for sure, but it is heavily subsidized by federal tax money from the rest of the country hmmmmm reminds me of illinois and the part of the gas tax on the entire state that supports Chicago's mass transit authority

I don't know but I think that they are a lot like China, a paper tiger.
@wolfhnd yeah they are a similar in one way, but China does have some claws whereas the Californicators only have accusations and shaming projections in their arsenal.
also, the liberals are incapable of doing math. Especially Calis....for example, if they have been losing population for the second straight year, in the hundreds of thousands, then would you not have a surplus of energy since those hundreds of thousands of kWhs per day are no longer being used or consumed?
When the US becomes insolvent because of a deficit far beyond the ability of the country to make good, states heavily depending on the government will be the first to go down a rabbit hole so deep as to not recover for generations. And it will happen in part as they decimate the labor force.
@Weltansicht California's energy problems are just beginning. Democrats have legislated in such a way to punish power developers from planning and building the electric grid infrastructure - a process that takes 30-40 years, and Democrats did that 40 years ago. Permanent power outages are just around the corner, and the population could drop by half and it would make no difference. And neighboring state power distributors have seen this coming as well, and have planned to insulate their grids from California so theirs aren't taken down. And when they do have more power to sell, which is not likely, they will be asking premiums California can't afford.
