LINK POLL: Majority of Americans oppose Affirmative Action policies
A majority of likely voters oppose race-based admission standards in higher education.
The poll was released nearly one month before the Supreme Court rules on two cases challenging race-based admission at Harvard and the University of North Carolina.

There is no systemic racism in this country. The last vestiges of such were dying out, until the Obama's did and said everything they could in order to invigorate it -- for political purposes, of course.

Affirmative action was meant to give blacks a chance to get to the top.There are hundreds if not thousands of blacks who are now millionaires or pretty close to it. It has served is original purpose, it's now time to end it.
@FEWI Yes, that was the purported purpose. But, since it was applied across the board to every program it became wide spread institutionalized racism/sexism. Not the type of "bad racism", of course.
I experienced this sort of thing back in the 80's when trying to hire an engineer to replace one that had moved on within the company to a better job (wished her good luck!). Anyhoo, HR told me I had to hire a female. Uhh, this was a very specialized field, nuclear engineering. I checked and at that time there were only six in the country. Told HR, they didn't care, they had quotas to worry about; not my engineering needs.
