at least a millennium, of a thousand years of human evolvement and social evolution, of knowledge, of perception of humanity, the gross weaknesses and strengths, a golden age of mankind of the Hyborean Age before the Tower Of Babel ... sound familiar of Jesus & the Millennial Kingdom??/

@Weltansicht The Assyrians also had an equivalent of the Psalm 82 Divine Council and many Liberal scholars say the Hebrew scriptures copied from that. What they fail to take into account is that the Hammurabi version makes the fallen watchers the good guys. And then you have the fallen watchers themselves who likely provided this Hammurabi version, which makes sense that they portray themselves the good guys.

@Weltansicht Also, Hammurabi does not dictate Israel's future. The Israel of God, that is, the remnant who will not live in unbelief. Here are some of OT passages that allude to the coming Millennial Reign of Messiah.

Daniel 9:24 says

"Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy."

This has not happened yet. If a Jew thinks this is not really going to happen, it's like saying the Jewish scriptures is full of false entries. But how can anyone make an end to sin? The bloods of bulls and rams cannot take away sin, to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness. So how is Daniel 9:24 made possible? The how has already been revealed in the New Testament (and even in the OT, like in Isaiah 53) as thousands upon thousands of Messianic Jews have already discovered.
