Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Best to not be one of the Pharisees who used the presence of Jesus to advance the status of their houses...at His expense on Earth. Part of Jesus' plan for sure, but those guys were no different than Judas.
And the Disciples themselves, bickering and posturing for most favored Disciple..ignoring Jesus' admonition that they should be paying attention while he was there. Also not beyond Jesus' understanding, as he chose them not for their high station or great moral standing.
All of us faithful will be saved in spite of ourselves. But wouldn't we be doing a better job of glorifying Him by doing our best to honor all of His Beloved children, and try to avoid finding fault, when there is so much rich work to do in ourselves first?
I have seen admirable knowledge of Scripture in others who seem to need to fit my every conversation with them into one of their discoveries. Didn't He give us the best example in the Universe of how to listen to each others' pain?
