Humans are naturally exhibitionist. Males show off their status with expensive cars, their physical strength, wit or intelligence, and trophy females. Females show off their status by being attractive to males or their signs of health and fertility and association with high status males. What has changed is that society has embraced sexual freedom to follow those natural inclinations. The result is that 20 percent of males are have 80 percent of the sex. The evidence suggests that females are not nearly as interested in "relationships" as they purport to be at the sexual level. The advantage of having stable relationships is of course not lost on them in a world of individuals. In the natural world some level of segregation of the sexs provides social structure and security. That inclination towards segregation can be seen in the idea that masculinity is toxic. Since segregation is impossible in a modern world the feminist answer is to turn most males into female like creatures.

The requirements of civilization are harsh because they are at odds with our instincts. The desire to return to a natural easy but unstable environment is always there. Following the sexual revolution it was easily predictable that Diversity, Inclusion and Equality would become popular. Marx's ideas are really nothing more than a reflection of the desire to return to a natural environment without productivity. Where immutable characteristics would replace merit based on productivity and stability. The DIE ideology shifted the focus from workers to minorities and females because the success of the industrial revolution made the workers revolution unlikely. DIE in a way is a transformed Marxism.

To justify the transfer of wealth from the meritocratic based on productivity feminism relies on our instinct for fairness. In nature fairness is equal access to what nature provides because their is no productivity. Merit is determined by networking, grooming and immutable characteristics. Masculinity being active and femininity being passive females are more susceptible to embracing the DIE ideology. A world where merit is based on appearances appeals to females more than males. It's also the case that the passive are more inclined to favor security over freedom. Since paternal certainty is not a problem for females they are inclined towards replacing relationships with low status males with a relationship with the state. The state becomes the alpha male protector. The lack of concern with productivity means they are also inclined towards redistribution of wealth by the state. This mindset is one where the strong become seen as predators and the weak infants to be protected. If it continues it will lead to the breakdown of the harsh but stable conditions civilization requires. To prevent that we need to return to a world where merit is based on productivity and hierarchies of competence replace hierarchies based on networking, grooming and appearances. A world of stable relationships between the sexes. One of mutual dependence and trust that encourages cooperation. That seems unlikely since it is at odds with our instincts and a warped idea of freedom.
