2309092200Sa DIVERSITY OF CITIZENSHIP?
Now I don’t know the domicile of each and every defendant in this politically motivated Georgia prosecution it is without proper contention that most if not all defendants don’t reside in Georgia – especially President Trump.
If ever there were a litigation ripe for removal to Federal Court based on standing of ‘diversity of citizenship’ alone this would be it.
Being an avid proponent of states rights I never thought I see an honorable purpose for ‘diversity of citizenship' -- but here it is.
While State laws are routinely prosecuted in Federal Courts, I don’t remember Federal Laws being prosecuted in state courts? Or am I misunderstanding what’s going on here?
Then there’s the question as to whether this Georgia prosecution is founded upon ‘insurrection’ {as per our Constitution} or ‘sedition’ ( as per 18 USC 2384} -– or do democrats want it both ways as usual? In either case, this belongs in Federal Court rather than some State Court somewhere.
PS1. The most dastardly issue of all this lawfare by democrats is that it’s an obvious attack on our multi-party political system. Single party systems are common in communist countries – is that the objective? I mean, if political campaigning is to be found illegal what do we have left other than an outright socialist system of government with the single political party?
PS2. Fascism is when corporatism colludes with the political party in power to control the electorate – what we saw in 2020.
PS3. What is a political party if not a conspiracy of like minded people with the goal of winning elections?
PS4. I bring up the sedition of 18 USC 2384 only because of prior commentary asserted that it was what President Trump was being charged with rather than the ‘insurrection’ of the 14th Amendment to our Constitution. But as I’m not given to controversy, that’s for them to reconcile for themselves.
