Like this comically corrupt example: Human Reactions to Rape Culture and Queer Performativity in Urban Dog Parks in Portland, Oregon shows if you use the right woke language you will get high praise and acceptance. Which brings out the replication crises. Most studies and papers are not replicable, especially the woke ones. (ironically the dog park rape hoax is more repilcable than 99.9% of the common woke junk papers)
And the massively bloated cost and administration. And they are going after the stem fields now rapidly degrading whats left of the meritocracy.
Martin Luther did not want to create a new church. He just wanted to discuss the open and blatant corruption going on in the Catholic Church. Everyone knew it too, and many agreed with Luther that it was bullshit. I think he had did the same thing a year before. But the new technology of the printing press had become common and someone made a lot of copies of his 95 theses. 1517 changed everything.

Very interesting! Our Universities have sort of become our churches today where we gather and learn and discuss. Five hundred years ago there was one church that everyone attended and there was no formal education system such as the one Napoleon brought to Europe in the 1810's. Churches were the places that retained libraries of knowledge 500 years ago before public museums and libraries became established across Europe.
The greatest corrupter and destroyer of our modern University system is the permission of large scale money donations that basically usurp their longstanding rules and missions, converting Universities into socio-political indoctrination camps to reflect those beliefs of the donors. Universities should be publicly funded by the tax payers and donations need to be limited in size and donor-type.

A good part of the donition are running on inertia of the past statius producing potential when the universities were based on merit. This is degrading.
