My eyes were opened to the overwhelming amount of propaganda that we are subjected to daily when I found a book on advertising and realized that it was not used to sell things but lifestyles and beliefs.

This guy is right that publications like Alinsky's Rules For Radicals are being followed by many of the leadership on the Left, even though he does not specifically mention it. And that there is a significant portion of the population that is not smart enough to think much through, therefore seeks to be told what to think. That is a sitting advantage to insert propaganda by the Left that has not gone unused. Many actually believe socialism is the answer, in spite of the vast historical truth to the contrary, among many other superstitions and conspiracy theories.
