How Evil Thinks
To understand reality and the problems of man we need to understand how people think and why they think that way. Socialism is a specific way of thinking that devalues ownership. War and crime and political conflicts of all kinds exist because property rights were discarded by one or more group. There is not just a generic kind of thinking and problem solving we all use, there are two specific modes of thinking leading to two unique ways of dealing with problems. These two modes of thought create two separate realities. A whole range of possible solutions are rejected by each group because these solutions do not fit in with how the group members think about reality. [anchor.fm]

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.You didn't distill it, so I will. There are those who understand that the Constitution protects individual freedom, and those who believe socialism only sacrifices individual freedom for order.
However the history of socialism shows that it always fails to deliver without violence, suffering, starvation, torture and death - which one should probably equate as the opposite of order.
Socialist propagandists assert that there are successful socialist regimes, and they are lying, because if they told the truth, no one would accept socialism at all.
The regimes they name always resort to capitalism to restore their failing economies, and because they are authoritarian regimes, which always resume socialism after the economies recover, because it is their source of power and control. Socialism provides the legitimate place for the power hungry, who basically must disguise themselves as public servants in a capitalist society. As authoritarian regimes, those who benefit from brief episodes of capitalism are always at risk when they are returned to socialism, and they suffer and sometimes die for their inability to adapt.
No socialist regime ever started without first being funded by successful capitalism, which it then squandered. "All socialist regimes fail as production inevitably ceases, and the resources built by capitalism are squandered on dachas for the privileged."

History is not a good predictor of the future. That we have fought for eons over who owns what and who has a right to what does not mean we must continue to think in the same way. Not disputing your keen observations about the past, just suggest you are looking in the wrong direction.
@Edify, You can say that choosing to believe in socialism is "evil" and illogical, and unChristian, and be correct, however it does not make my description wrong. You have a way of looking at it that is valid, however not persuasive to the evil or illogical. Those who I know who have awakened from the socialist dream have only done so by recognizing their current path as equivalent to paths chosen by others in history. Using dialectic arguments only allows them the Marxist wedge to be applied to your simple statement of the morality of property ownership, with which they simply disagree without qualification - Which is Marx's only piece of wisdom: No argument was necessary to be persuasive; only Marxist assertion, and logic could be discarded entirely. Of course this is why socialist regimes fail. They are not based in reality.
Ok - taxes pay for school. If I don’t have children, I still pay for education.
How is that not socialism
I mean I still own my house - but I still pay into some form of socialism

All there is is how people think. How you define a word defines how you will think and react in response to the concept. Think of Trump, one man, two realities, two ways of responding to him.
Socialism as practiced by the likes of a Castro or a Chavez/Maduro among the more radical forms, assures everyone is equally poor by taxing the beejusus out of high earners.
Meanwhile, communism assures there are no higher salary earners. except for members of the ruling party government members .

Communism is the ideology of not owning things. Socialism just means certain things are paid for by everyone.
