LINK Amazon VP quits over employee firings, saying they were ‘designed to create a climate of fear’ Really??? – GeekWire
Hmm...VP quits because employees are treated as "fungible pickers and packers" but when you read his blog its really about Amazon not folding to climate-change/climate-justice activism. Progressive liberal left strikes again. Its not about covid-19 cases in the ware-houses but about he and his merry band of SJWs. Here's an excerpt from his blog:
Amazonians on the tech side banded together as Amazon Employees for Climate Justice (AECJ), first coming to the world’s notice with an open letter promoting a shareholders’ resolution calling for dramatic action and leadership from Amazon on the global climate emergency. I was one of its 8,702 signatories.
While the resolution got a lot of votes, it didn’t pass. Four months later, 3,000 Amazon tech workers from around the world joined in the Global Climate Strike walkout. The day before the walkout, Amazon announced a large-scale plan aimed at making the company part of the climate-crisis solution. It’s not as though the activists were acknowledged by their employer for being forward-thinking; in fact, leaders were threatened with dismissal.
What angers me as that this guy did this to get publicity for he and his fellows activists not the common folk just doing their jobs at Amazon. These workers can pickup the virus and import it to the warehouse so its not all on the employer.
Dude walks away from his job and loses a million that's his choice not news.

I have stopped using Amazon for more than a year now. Bezos is as Stalinist as they get. I refuse to support a seditious, immoral and hypocritical guy like Bezos, and Amazon. I encourage all Constitutional Americans to drop Amazon until it goes out of business. And if you are anti-Constitutional, please, please, move to China.

@dd54. Sorry, I no longer seem to have access to those articles which led me to choose other resources. If I run across them again, I will post them here.
@dd54. What? Are you asking if I am anti-capitalist? The answer would be no. I am pro-Constitution and anti-Leftist. Amazon is an organization that is run by an ambitious businessman, who has translated his amazing success into the belief that he is above the Constitution, including the spirit of the anti-trust laws, and should violate our rights just because he can. When I find those links I will provide them.
