Yeah... the extreme leftist revolution's not going quite as well as I thought it would
All joking aside though, I was extremely fortunate to have some really good teachers growing up. (1990's middle/ high school, public)
My Government teacher stood out in particular. His very first class he introduced himself, explained what the outlying curriculum was going to be, and that we would be discussing policies not parties. He added that he had never disclosed his political party affiliation and that he never would. (Many tried to guess lol)
Unbiased teachers let alone professors simply don't exist anymore, which is mind boggling to me. I used to view the two parties as a method of balancing things out. I still believe going too far in either direction would destroy the US. Now I'm even questioning our two main parties.
So, Obama yanked things way left and Trump yanked them back way right. Regardless of how you vote, I feel a president should be a representative for all sides. Not a champion for only one. But, I digress...
Universities have been making a complete mockery out of our education system. Students protest speakers like Ben Shapiro, segregated events to support POC, safe spaces, and the list goes on. Everyone is triggered by everything. It's crazy town. Honestly, so much damage has already been done. I have no idea what would fix it.

There is no surprise here. Academia has become so inbred and narrow minded, as the most talented, educated students graduate and move into the workforce, leaving behind a slew of underachievers to mimic their academic mentors.
