But you are right, most of us are motivated by the respect for individual rights, and are made of stuff that makes us too tolerant and too nice. So we tolerate rudeness, trash talking, lies and seditious talk. We should not.
But not by their method of censorship. We should speak clearly - including laughter at their preposterous, infantile, self-centered circular logic.

But if you want to change the subject, I notice you have equated the two things unconditionally. Wouldn't you like to add that the "common good" ENFORCED BY GOVERNMENT is dangerous to human rights?
The Constitution protects our rights by asserting that WE HAVE RIGHTS NOT GRANTED BY GOVERNMENT, thereby limiting our government. THAT is the common good, which also happens to be the language in the Constitution... not your interpretation.
