Yes, Steyn is a voice of sanity and has been a voice in the darkness for a long time. It's time we started listening more and learning quickly, time and tide are running out.
Evidently we will need to have tougher Narwhal Tusk controls in place. Except for Narwhals, who really needs these?

I absolutely loved the Narwhale tusk...it would be so Monty Python, if it wasn't for the 2 dead people.
I wonder how many are aware of just exactly what it was that inspired the Crusades.

@dd54 @AlbertaPatriot Yep, history is deep....And that's a good example, of one people need to educate themselves on and one, not so funnily enough, the heirs of the Ottomans and their supporters think it a valid argument and why it is we have nothing to say about their quest for dominance now - Every time their ideologues use the rallying call of " the evil crusades"!, makes me madder, as if they are the oppressed.....history is not about guilt, it is a record on survival tactics.

Hahahahaha!!! I thought the name Cressida (the London Police Commissioners) was an unusual one, (Cressida) Dick - as PJW would say, not very English, is it? So I looked it up and in Greek it means "Gold" - for she/he/shim/shir it makes a crazy kind of sense - Cressida was also the name of a Trojan girl in Homer's The Iliad and Odyssey....which also makes for some crazy coincidence.
Will anything be learned from this, or will we (collectively) continue to wallow in stupidity where terrorism is concerned? Frustrating, to say the least....

I feel as you. I wonder how to wake up these “woke” people? I don’t even know if it is possible anymore. Reason has gone the way of the “dodo bird”.

Great analogy to the Dodo bird, lol....made me think of Alice and a dream I had as a kid on that. But reason is still with us, maybe, we just need to learn and teach others how to fly or swim
