Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The quality of educational outcomes have deteriorated significantly over the past 20 years in NZ and the authorities are scratching their heads why we are slipping so fast down the rankings.
Talk to any honest teacher... they spent 60% of their time on administration, 30% on dealing with disruptive students, and 10% on actual teaching.
The cure according to the ministry of education is more administration and more “special attention” to those who have no interest in learning.
Since the “disruptive” children makeup is racially skewed, any discussion on the matter is racist.

Same story over here mate
I agree 100%. Most instructors, like me, have little to no training to handle children who have issues. Over the years I've noticed most of it can be associated with a lack of or horrible parenting. Other times, these children have special needs that require more attention than the teachers or aids can give. These children should have their own classrooms or schools. Not to keep them isolated, but because decades ago when I was in school, the general students could volunteer to work with the special needs students for extra credits. It was a win-win.
