Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.someone should tell the politicians they don't have the power to "allow" free speech, the keeping of arms etc. Those are RIGHTS bestowed in the ratification of the Bill of Rights.
The only way to change that is to call a Continental Constitutional Convention and to rewrite it there. I have been saying all along it would be a huge mistake to have an article 5 Convention - the idea makes me think of that old song "Someone Left the Cake Out in the Rain". - it'll be completely ruined and you'll never get it back again...a dream come true for the Politicians, the Communists and anyone else who hated Liberty and Free Market Capitalism.

I’m thinking like you. Mark Levin is a major advocate; I need to see how he suggests avoiding the pitfalls you point out. I think the strength of The Constitution is how difficult it is to change.

that is Mr Levins blind spot. It isn't perfect as it stands but to open it up would be to nullify it completely.
Every time I have heard the Great One advocate for the article 5 convention I just want to scream. I want him to do an intellectually cost benefit analysis on having the article 5.
I want Mr Levin to explain in great detail what he hopes to gain by doing it.
