They live in filthy, polluted, ugly and foul cities, just like their mentality and morals. Look at a map of red state/ blue states. The blue is mostly urban areas.

There's an easy way of resolving the issue. Vote out Cuomo. Vote in somebody that cares about the citizens under his care.

It ain't gonna happen any time soon.
I can't recall the term, but it's where they stand by their abuser, even if they are beaten every day. I think those who keep Cuomo and Pelosi in office suffer from that.

On the other hand, I was stationed in upstate New York for a few years and I saw a tiny groundswell of people who were sick of their representatives' lack of support for their perspectives. They were getting more bold in pointing out to their liberal buddies where the left was failing their own. There's a massive up-hill climb ahead and there may not be enough will to make it, but there may be hope if Pres Trump keeps proving the left wrong and if the wimpy houses of congress start supporting his lead for the good 'we of the people.'
I'd rather hold out hope and do what I can than just give up and accept the lies of the left that we are just victims and need big brother to save us. Look where that's gotten those who believed them.
