looks like the model of a consumer economy that relies on slave labor is going to or is very vulnerable to pandemic spread of disease in 3rd world.
I am troubled by how this COVID-19 might well have a profound impact on our election in November.
If our economy responds negatively even marginally it will almost certainly bode ill for a Trump re-election.

That’s not the only vital market we’ve let them corner. Starting with Bill Clinton selling them crucial weapons and electronic technology, it’s been a fire sale. We’ve thrown the doors open and let out with a cheery, “Com’on down! Everything must go!!!”
In a country that cared about its security interests, a lot of people would have already gone to prison with more lining up to join them
