An update from England - was going to say the U.K., but not sure this would be of interest to the Scots or Irish, the majority of which seemed to have wanted to be a part of Europe, where police routinely wave around machine guns, so maybe this is no big deal to them. A friend of mine called and told me of her experiences today, while waiting in line at a Sainsbury's supermarket store for groceries - in ENGLAND. The line she said, was really long and went all around it outside. Her sister had teased her, for using a scarf to cover her face, (what is it they say, you can only pick your friends?), but few others were wearing face coverings. She joked that only those wearing burka's were really safe....I joked, sort of, that maybe that was the plan, lol She went on to say, that several police cars were present and policemen were approaching everyone in the line, taking down their names and asking what their business was there, (enter Brit sarcasm here, Monty Python sketch perhaps?) After a minute of her going on to describe this, I said to her, "That sounds very stazi like!?", thinking that she probably objected to being treated like that, but much to my surprise she said, "Oh no, it's very dangerous with this virus, don't you know, thousands are dead and more dying everyday!". I asked if she meant world wide or in U.K.?, and she indicated just in the U.K. As she seemed genuinely shaken up and I was puzzled to be quite honest that she didn't see it being a problem to be questioned by police, while waiting in line for groceries, so as it was late across the pond and she seemed to have treated herself to a couple of soothing cocktails, didn't pursue it further - the last thing I wanted to be at that point was the accused buzz kill

But, it did make me think about things, which is why I am sharing my thoughts; why are the authorities, the police specifically in this case, using what sounds like intimidation tactics instead of appealing to peoples common sense and better natures ? Why did her sister scoff at her for doing the right thing? We are talking about a nation that developed common law rights, reasoned etiquette, usually over a cup a tea, but were never, not in my day, easy push overs to authority figures who couldn't justify their business with you?

Maybe I am over thinking this, but it makes me think of the history I have read, on the rise of fascism in 30's Europe, when things went from questioning peoples activities and what business they were going about, to billy clubs, batons and rifle butts - has Brexit come a little too late for my former countrymen and women, that idea breaks my heart, but fear for them too and we think we have it bad in the U.S.!?

Was going to post this somewhere separately, but with the main article speaking of people coming into homes and taking your kids due to Chinese virus, maybe this is exactly where this belongs.

I do read articles from the AMA and Medical Science, I do know scientists were looking for a lab to work with the cold virus (corona?) and not being accepted in any country for months until China said ok, a few months later a virus released, then rapidly socialist regulations and laws start being pushed in all countries with a claim of public safety. An antidote will come, that's free enterprise, but with all politicians around the world scraping for power and control of the populace only rebellion will come. Economies of all countries will crash, banks will take possession of all collateral for recovery. As of yet, telling politicians no is all that can be done. Read Federal and State Constitutions, follow those laws and regulations. And don't forget those in the media are paid to say what they are told. Ofcourse this is my opinion, but look it up and see what you find.
