Rules of Engagement for the Culture War

This is the dimensional hierarchy of argument:

Physical < Rational < Moral < Philosophical

The liberal fights in a different dimension.

The conservative bases its arguments in the physical world. That is the rational dimension.

The liberal bases its arguments in the ideological world. That is the moral dimension.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to win a moral argument with a rational response. It will be seen as brutish, less evolved.

The moral world is a subset of the rational world.

The only solution is to make an argument from the dimension above moral: Philosophical

NO

waynus Level 7 Apr 24, 2020

@waynus Clean slate. I want to make friends now. I apologize for the act of hubris, I was looking for people who could stand up to cold, hard relativistic logic.

I figured out a way to divine truth from belief and found there are 2 roots to everyone's thought patterns.

Self, other.

That's it.

Everyone makes decisions every day about who to help more.

If you don't eat, you can't feed another
If you don't work, you can't help another
If you don't make money, you have to depend on another.

Depending on your root philosophical tendency, you will act and think differently.

Religion provides a blend of the two.
Atheism removes a root, but has nothing to anchor to, just what others say is the root.

What do you mean by NO?

@SupraLibrix
NO ! Just bullshit, not interested. So many errors in basic matters, not worth anyone's time.

@waynus Peace.

@SuperiorLibrix. Just curious- who is doxxing?

Nobody here, @waynus got just a tiny confrontational, but @Naomi came to my rescue ♥️

I've been testing my theory on Facebook for about a year.

I took notes.

Basically, the algorithm is just variables for positive, neutral and negative feelings.

It's a descriptive language, people perceive it as an ideology because that's how they think.

This is how a computer would think about us, it echoes back whatever you think until it finds where you don't know what you're talking about.

It was very entertaining to me, but some people don't like having their core values questioned. I've never been bothered.

At one point, in an echo session with an atheist, he put up a picture of me that he had found on the web.

The funny part is that in the same thread, I was discussing the phenomenon with my nephew, he doxxed me to my nephew. 😂

That's the equivalent of mob rule.

To introduce physical threat to an ideological conversation is not free speech.

1

@SupraLibrix I sadly apologize for not having enough interest to formulate an opinion on that.

doxxing is the only defense against superior rhetoric.

this way you can tell when someone can't defend their position.

for the octagon of reason.

2

@Supra_Librix I don't think "this world" is all there is, and I never expressed that sentiment.

everyone has a personal philosophy, whether it's coherent or not.

Christianity has one that's thousands of years old and proven Superior in a dangerous world.

no one can touch the Jews.

ask the right person and you'll discover that they run the whole world from behind a curtain somewhere.

Do you think that's coincidental?

2

@supra_Librix "How you act while you're waiting for nothing to happen is what's important". How so? In addition, (fyi) I never introduced or implied that "waiting " was part of nihilism. Am curious how that got inserted?

If you think this world is all there is, you tend to think government is the source of power, not the individual.

That's a common pattern.

2

The individual journey towards accepting the possibility that the universe may actually exist without ultimate purpose or meaning, can be quite nauseating for many. But it gets easier as it sinks in with time.

It may be true, there's no way to know.

How you act while you're waiting for nothing to happen is what's important.

Where would you see the emotional world fitting in? I certainly agree that most arguments are a total waste of time because the arguments often, perhaps even usually are between incompatible dimensions based on how people perceive the world. Different perceptions of reality lead to different starting points and different interpretations of everything that follows making discussion irrelevant. Those totally immersed in a world of emotional responses seem to receive even philosophical arguments as too rational unless of course the basis of the philosophical argument is emotional which is effectively impossible for someone coming from a rational perspective. The emotional world is more moral than rational but it is often too individual to be considered ideological, unless it is a very personal rather than a broad ideology.

Everyone has to act rationally to live, moral to be happy

That's the internal war.

With the internet, the inner workings of the mind were exposed like clockwork.

Now it's playing out like a medieval level morality of ideological warfare.

Hello. I can see that "emotional" and "rational" are incompatible, but how about "moral" and "rational"? The original post says "It is IMPOSSIBLE to win a moral argument with a rational response." Is it possible to behave morally and rationally at the same time?
It's not that I fully understand the original post, The wording is a little difficult for me to follow...

Hello. SupraLibrix,
You say in the original post that "It is IMPOSSIBLE to win a moral argument with a rational response." But you also say "Everyone has to act rationally to live, moral to be happy." It now sounds like "moral" and "rational" are compatible and it is no longer the case that either has to win an argument against the other. I'm lost. Lol

@Biosphere

This is the root of the culture war.

This is why there is no reconciliation and never can be using rational arguments.

The moral arguments don't work either because the philosophical roots are different: Globalist vs. Nationalist. Duality of nature, wave vs. particle. It's echoed right down to the level of the photon.

I agree that reconciliation between those from different dimensions is effectively impossible because perceptions often don’t intersect although even in the quantum world what determines whether something is a wave or a particle seems to be how it is received. Until it is measured it has the potential to be either or even both.
