I saw a YouTube channel called something like the liberal hive mind. It is not a hive mind it is a primate mind. As E.O. Wilson put it Socialism great idea wrong species. The primate mind has a sense of fairness that closely resembles equality that is at odds with the requirements of civilization. Civilization requires predispositions that do actually resemble social insects. Nobody controls the hive it is one mind. There are hierarchies of competencies in the hive but there is little enforcement. Within a Chimpanzee society enforcement is required because individually is only possible at a certain level of complexity. Complex minds require random generation of alternatives which unavoidably leads to aberrant behavior. In other words non conformity is required to a point short is socially destructive behavior. What the social insects do collectively to explore the environment more complex animals do as individuals. What chimpanzees need is social skills to keep it all from getting out of control.

Civilization requires a level of cooperation alien to primates. Cooperation that is dependent on hierarchies of competence in systemization not Chimpanzee social skills. Those competencies and self control over the inner chimpanzee is what should be learned during adolescence. Western Civilization however has extended adolescence until death. In a way civilization is it's own worse enemy in this regards because not only does self domestication infuse neoprene at the genetic, individual level but in the society itself.

If you want to be generous you can think of how liberalism has gone wrong as the smothering mother syndrome. If vote in support of the infant you will perpetuate infancy and dependency. As it turns out empathy is really just a product of mirror neurons. Instincts are a poor guide for civilization.

I recently talked to a female relative of mine who probably has an IQ in the 130 range, owns a conventional business, was raised in a farm family, and takes good care of themselves. Under normal circumstances these kind of people would see how ridiculous the media assault on Trump is but not today. This individual is convinced that Trump is mentally deficient. When Joe Biden is the alternative this kind of cognitive dissonance is truly amazing. This kind of person I'm convinced voted for Obama because his skin is slightly darker than the alternative although I myself would never have voted for McCain that is besides the point. Something about the Boomer and subsequent generation has interfered with their maturation into adults. They have remained in the emotive adolescent state throughout their lives, especially the females, and their education has simply improved their ability to rationalize their cognitive dissonance.
