First, I'm heading kicking and screaming into my seventh decade. For most of my life I've been a student of history and the human condition, as well as the foibles and small victories of politics.

I have a background in finance, accounting, IT, sales, and consulting, and am pleasantly retired from the workforce.

I am a fisherman who doesn't eat fish, kisses them on the lips and releases them. I ended up several years ago as a fly fisherman for trout and other species

I suppose I would be classified as an avid shooter and a knife collector aficionado.
