I've worked in various capacities in my corporate career: computer programmer, operations manager, Six Sigma Process improvement, project manager, corporate values and emotional intelligence consulting. I'm deeply concerned about the state of the world my future grandchildren will inherit and I look forward to having in depth conversations focused on solutions that can be implemented in Canada and internationally.
I've had many spontaneous spiritual experiences (like near death experiences) which have totally transformed my views of the world and woken me up from being an apathetic soccer mom (professional version) type to a very engaged soul for a way to get more involved with real solutions. Right now, I don't see many real solutions in the news. I hope to find more of my people here!
I currently live part of the year in Vancouver and the other part in Costa Rica where I can be closer to nature and the ocean. I am debating my next steps in life. Should I just stay in Costa Rica year round, semi-retire and start a podcast talking about the issues from mutliple perspectives (blue pill perspective, red pill perspective and somewhere in the middle where there are solutions once people understand the magnitude of the problem and where there is common agreement of the problems) . Or should I return to Canada to a normal job and slowly work towards educating people one on one about the attributes of the problem that are missing from mainstream media that most of my friends take as the "real news". My are pretty much raised so I have finished that bulk of that part of my life. I have deep deep concern for my future grandchildren so I am caught in the middle of these two option currently.
