Sounds like a lot of mental gymnastics in that book. I haven't read it, and I won't, so what I'm about to say might be unfair. But I'm guessing DiAngelo thinks only whites are racist, and the only way to solve racial issues is to allow others to tell us what constitutes racism, how we inevitably and inextricably exhibit racist behavior, and that we're forever bound by rules we don't set. DiAngelo implies we're all racist whether we like it or not, as though it's a function of our skin color.
Sorry, not buying it.

i am white and i don't have to admit anything. eighty percent of the population live by the law of the land. eighty percent of people never had to be handcuffed by a policeman. eighty percenty of the population never had to be knocked to the ground, never had to be thrown into a police car, because, because, they don't break the law of the land. the problems is with the twenty percent who rob, steal, rape, kill, etc. so if you are part of the twenty percent you are part of the problem.
