Hard to say personally I've never felt like that.
Many of my friends are not professionals and that thinking never enters their heads.
There being 2 types of expectations... 1/ Your own and 2/ Those of others.
I try to not let either bother me too much.

I don't know whether standards have become too high, but I agree with the idea that an obsession with reform and revolution is often common among individuals — from Napoleon to Antifa nerds — plagued with feelings of inferiority.

One common thread shot through much progressive thinking is resentment and anger over the success, wealth and influence of others. Affluence is falsely equated with the oppression and influence is seen as privilege. Hard work, sacrifice and discipline are discounted by woke-progressives, who — without evidence — attribute success to factors like race, sex, or privilege.

Its not unusual that many who lack confidence and self-esteem default to the fleeting rush of power that accompanies outrage and anger. There is a certain security that some progressives derive in yelling slogans and throwing projectiles from the secure confines of the mob. Look Mom, I finally made a team!

Good one Alfredo. That has been the problem with human nature all along. Many of us are not willing to strive for success or even happiness, and feel that someone else should provide those things. That is the basis for enslaving as many people as possible. Drug lords, power-hungry politicians who want to enslave their gullible utopian base of voters, and very wealthy leftists are all among those willing to manipulate and control everyone else, and destroy anyone who gets in the way.

Only tyrannical government can control that nature, and only until the leadership is corrupted.

Most of us just want to live our lives as best we can and can only shake our heads at the destructiveness of those infantile temper-tantrum throwers, and manipulative power mad leftists. Its easy to try to not care so we don't feel so badly about all of this. We need to find our resolve.

Constitutional Republicanism is the only governance invented in human history that can provide protection of the rights of individuals against the government itself, corruption of the government, and from those willing to violate the rights of others.

They (the mob) would burn it down regardless - that's why they have created and implemented a "purity test" that NO human being could ever pass. Who among us is pure? "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" This is why great thinkers have always known and always said that the Left is a serpent eating its own tail. That metaphor is apt - we are seeing the left now "eating its own"...JK Rowling comes to mind.

Not for me, I guess I'm too used to failing to care. For me burning everything down is more a, "I don't have everything I want, so fuck everyone and everyone can have nothing." Who knows, I like fires, but not the societally or personally destructive kind.
