I still can’t believe the “the left” or at the very least it’s disciples haven’t realized Covid isn’t the grim reaper we thought it was. Like there is just waaaaaaaaaaay too much evidence to the contrary for us to be be treating this the way we are. Like I really want to know what thing needs to be cancelled, shut down, or go out if business for them to maybe consider gee did that actually need to be closed or is it really worth sacrificing for the less than 1% of people who may die? What thing dies the government need to utterly fail at sustaining? You would think the logic of the poor testing would be enough. “The government should be in charge of all of this”. “Wow why can't the government test better?l. And you still want them in charge of everything? I mean there are things i am definitely annoyed are cancelled and such and i hate seeing businesses struggle but its all the “ifs” i keep seeing about all if these things still to come up that is really me off. “If we go back to school” “if we have football” “if we stay open” “if if if...” like seriously there shouldn’t even be an if at this point but there is. And the thing that just makes it better when it comes to “if schools can reopen” is everyone is pissed Trump will cut funding to schools if they arent open. Really?!?! You mean they aren’t open, why the fuck should they get money? I mean hell fire all but 1 teacher per grade, you don’t have to pay to keep the lights on since no one is there and even maintenance staff don't need to come in since the building is deserted . Since our virus testing is so poor lets put that extra money towards something useful like that? But then these people won't have an income, so? You coukdnhave reopened the school.

Cool he thinks 2 mil dead but can he weigh in on how many casea that will be out of? With no cure, botched understanding, and lack of accurate information people are going to contract it. Plain and simple. Like there is no sure way to keep it from spreading at this point. The so-called “experts” are still updating how it spreads. So sure cases and deaths will continue to rise but will they do so proportionally or will deaths come even closer to the number of cases? Signs point to no. But people don’t seen to grasp this basic premise since by now they believe the virus is a death sentence if you get it and the confirmed case number so high and scary thats all they focus on. Hell if you don't herd infected people who are the most at risk together you might even see the ratio of deaths to cases drop
@Joehlert11 death rate is about 2-3% so the final figure will depend on total infected. no sign of a peak in some countries.
It's amazing the things that government can do poorly when government-hating people prevent it from doing its job. Might as well have a free for all, at least the resulting disaster will be predictable!

And yeah i know we have been paying ppl forced out of work unemployment but remember this was supposed to be “temporary” at this point if this really is how things are going to be then like many of professions who likely need to start looking elsewhere for jobs since their industry is changing, maybe teachers need to as well. Clearly the way we are doing school is not going to be the same and with that we don't need as many teachers and they will likely be doing less work and at times from hone even. Therefor they don't need gas to get to and from, we don't need to oay for buses, they don't have to worry about the physical stress of teaching
