Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing is back. (Who knew?) At the time (early in Obama’s 2nd term), people thought, “He’s not serious, is he?”

Of course he was. And they still are, Biden having just promised to revive it. Couched in the language of fairness and diversity, the underlying theory is that failing cities got that way because racist generated white flight to the suburbs took away the tax base these cities needed to fund their welfare programs.

In typical leftist fashion, no consideration was ever given to possibly making cities more attractive for people trying to earn a living, raise a family and thrive free of rising crime and squalor. Never that. Instead, the leftist solution was to use government to socially engineer a solution in which everyone loses: Rezone single-family neighborhoods for multi-family use, then drop subsidized housing units in the middle of once prosperous communities, and, of course, raise taxes.

In other words, remove all the incentives for moving to the suburbs in the first place by destroying them and importing the failed urban hellholes the residents had tried to leave behind. The goal, ultimately is to force people back into cities where they’ll get to live in tiny micro-apartments like the ones Michael Bloomberg was pushing back when he was mayor of NYC.

The extremists behind the scenes see this as simply one step in the process of implementing Agenda 21, now Agenda 2030. This may well be a conspiracy, but it’s no theory. The lunatics who have gained control of the Democratic Party are neither loyal Democrats nor loyal Americans. Biden will simply initiate the process that had been intended for a Hillary Clinton administration.

These people are serious and they’ve been planning for several decades for this. It’s nothing personal, you understand. It’s just that ideas like national sovereignty and American exceptionalism have no place in the glorious sustainable future in which the UN will lead the charge.
