My wifes daughter is owner and chief exec officer of a very successful temp to hire employment agency.
Her business is hurting right now because she can't find anyone who is willing to give "free gov't money" to take a real job.
She has a number of positions (temp) that will pay $20/hr and she can't fill them all because damned few people have any personal integrity at all it seems.

Dude, I know people in that industry as well and when they gave an extra $600, they struggled hard to get people to come back to work. This affects businesses in the state, less revenue or they move/go out of business. It's bad enough that they raised the minimum wage, now the federal government is supplementing income.
@BlackoutNJ Exactly ! Staffing KC has had a very successful run for the last 20 + years but thanks to Gov't interference they are struggling right now.
It's the principle of "unintended consequences" - right?
Literally EVERY time Gov't - Politicians - try to "fix" something there are negative unintended consequences.
@iThink It took me a long time to realize this. The problems people complain about in recent American history in regards to capitalism is not the fault of capitalism, it's the fault of the government interfering with capitalism. This is an example along with the 2008 Financial Crash.
@BlackoutNJ Exactly! Are you familiar with the lectures of Milton Friedman? You can find them pretty easily on You tube. He really was a brilliant man. Go watch a few of his lectures and interviews...I think you'll enjoy it.

@BlackoutNJ there is one lecture that is fun to watch - Michael Moore was a skinny college kid who stood up to argue / challenge Milton Friedman during the Q and A ...its very interesting exchange.
