If Gropey Joe had any idea of the things he’s purported to be saying, would he stand behind coming down on the side of “peaceful protesters” in Portland against law enforcement officers, saying they brutally attacked the gentle throng? Would he consider this a winning strategy?
Joe came up in a system that allowed leftists to get away with just about anything, as long as they didn’t get too greedy too fast, and as long as they mouthed patriotic platitudes and wrapped themselves in the flag. But today’s left not only burns the flag to cheering crowds, they openly declare their intent to burn down the whole country. Does Joe know where his party went? Probably not. He doesn’t know where he is, most of the time.
The left has become arrogant and convinced of their invincibility, despite throwing everything they could think of against the wall for the last three years and seeing none of it stick. Even now, their latest gambit is unraveling. Instead of controlling the country with fear, they’ve managed to piss most people off and convince them that they’ve been lied to.
Joe, Joe, Joe. What have they done to you? Street riots and anarchy can’t be viewed as a strategy for victory. It goes far beyond party politics. When the people you wish to attract to your side start thinking in terms of survival, I’m wondering if the masters on the left have decided to abandon the political process altogether, give Trump his victory, then paralyze the country through armed revolt. With Trump as the trigger, it’s certainly possible.

That said, even if he was even a bit lucid, he would go along with the mob, because he’s a coward, and, well, he belongs to the party of mob rule..
