This is the lack of respect that people have for the office these days.
What he wasn't understanding is that the number of cases matters because it shows that people are getting sick but the percentage of them that are recovering is different. He is also correct that we are testing way more people than all of those other countries and doing it without tracking their citizens. I can gaurantee that there are countries in Europe that have slowed down with testing but we have ramped it up.
The amount of people sick and recovering indicates that this is no more dangerous than the common flu. The mass genocide that they were predicting even with lockdown never happened and isn't happening.

@WilyRickWiles Well, yes, that makes sense. He's not good with his words but I am. He's saying that the US is testing way more people than other countries, hence, we are showing more people have the virus. If you don't test nearly as much, your numbers look lower and people think everything is fine. I talk to various people in different countries and they know that testing is not happening in such a wide scale like it is in America.
It's difficult to wade through all the information that's being put out about COVID. But I've seen multiple accounts which say that at least some of the tests can't differentiate between COVID-19 and various other COVID virus' which people carry with no ill effects.
That's probably why so many of the people who test positive for COVID-19 have no symptoms.
My opinion, that's why various officials across the country are pushing for testing. They know that more tests will result in higher numbers because the test will find various COVID virus' which they can add to the COVID-19 numbers.
@Triumph I don't think you're far off but COVID has been politicized as well. I doubt that the craziness that is going on with the economy being shut down longer than normal wouldn't happen if it wasn't an election year. The stakes are high for the left and they are willing to play with the lives of Americans for political power. They know that the worse the economy is, the better chance that they will win. When they whine about people dying from COVID but then put COVID patients in nursing homes, they are playing with the lives of Americans. The end game is them wanting Trump to lose so they can install their puppet.
