People say other people won't even notice when America stops being free, as they fail to notice it hasn't been free for a long time. Frog boiling. I don't know much about American past, was it ever free? If Covid happened a century ago, could you have decided to try hidroxicloroquine? Could you feel safe expressing your natural bodily function of hate when something made you angry? Could you travel? Were your elections trust-worthy? But keep refusing to jump out, people. Good job.

We did have a COVID a century ago. In 1918 we suffered through the Spanish Flu. The US had about a hundred-million people and we lost about a million of them. It was the height of our World War One effort, so it was covered up. A lot of our reactions to COVID are based on our memories of the Spanish Flu.

I really hate the government intervention though. It takes away the opportunity of society to realize that there are people who don't care if they live or die. It's important because those outcast are neglected, there's a reason for their negligence. I don't think societies won't get far as long as they keep going for they easy route of pretending to be nice, and lying all the time to keep on being selfish, instead of dealing with the issues. If people don't care if society does, maybe it's because society is an asshole to them. But with Big Bro interfering, I guess the outcasts will have to keep enduring.

Maybe all countries, I don't know.
It's an interesting question WHEN US actually had a choice in elections instead of forced choice.
Canada may be as bad or worse but again, what were the choices?
There were wars, then the depression, more wars.
Not a good time for travel.
I actually doubt people could speak out then, either.
