"Trump, Pence knew about COVID-19 in January and covered it up"

Border lockdown with China January 21st. I will admit there was a coverup and people claiming it was a hoax coughPelosicough.
Oooh, we need to find Harris comments at the time!

The whole bit with Pelosi in China town in a large crowd where nobody was wearing a mask inviting everyone to come outside claiming there was no health threat blah blah blah. I wonder what happens if someone shows her that video now days? Does she just walk away with fingers in her ears singing "LALALALALALA", does she have a complete melt down trying to explain herself away? I would love to see that reaction caught on a hidden camera.

@KCSantiago Yep, virsu must have been a hoax.

Adult Americans have the right to vote. Along with that right comes a responsibility to educate themselves on the issues that matter to them and who better represents/supports their priorities and who is more capable of accomplishing the furtherance of those priorities.

The problem is that, with all the misinformation and even disinformation flooding the airwaves, this requires effort on the part of the individual voters. We are a lazy and/or overwhelmed people and many will fall back on the easy answer of believing what they want to believe instead of what is true.

It behoves those who have information to be consistently trustworthy and then to make that information available to other, less capable voters in a format that will encourage them to accept the truth over the lie.

The fact we have, as a society, become very lazy, I could not agree more. And one of the worst aspects of that is in parenting. People seem to send their kids to public schools more as a babysitting service and to put the responsibility of raising their kids onto someone else than for a real education. My oldest is now in her 30s. When she was in the first and second grades I had quite a few occasions to head down to the school and have a sit down with the principal because my kiddo tells me about problems in that school. I know that principal really hated to see me walking through the door. But what really surprised me was that I never saw more parents in there complaining.

@KCSantiago We were also very involved in our children’s education. We moved a lot (military) so it required a lot of research to find which public schools would do the best for our kids then we would have to find a place to live where the address was assigned to that school. We would interview principals which met with mixed responses (sometimes they found it refreshing and knew we would be involved). Both my wife and I volunteered to help at the schools and I saw that our kids usually got the best teachers who usually gave our children more than enough attention while we were helping other children. (It was challenging to find time with me usually having 2 jobs, but the kids were a priority over rest) It wasn’t until we moved to Tyndall AFB that we saw an apathy and even hostility that we couldn’t overcome. At that time we began homeschooling. That took even more time, but our children’s national exams scores got even higher and they began enjoying learning again. When they entered high school I put them back in the public schools in their International baccalaureate program so they could take advanced courses and even get a head start on college credits. Our daughters are in their 30s now too and we try to be very involved in our grandchildren’s lives. I occasionally help with their school work and we teach them some foreign languages, because the schools refuse to do this until they are in high school (even though studies show the best 2nd language acquisition years are between 3-7 yrs old.).

All the extra effort in raising our children ourselves (over letting school or babysitters do it) has really paid off. Our children are independent, leaders, and have achieving more than we did. They also ensure we are welcome and respected to be as involved in their children’s lives as we want. God has blessed our home and continues to bless our efforts. I don’t worry about them after I leave this life. I don’t even worry about the next generation as a whole much because I’ve seen other parents like us (e.g. my son-in-law’s, etc...) and I know that great leaders like my children and their spouses will just rise to the top and others will follow. (Also, God has it all in His hand and His plan provides for all the weaknesses.)

@Daveclark5 That is wonderful, God Bless you and your wife for caring so much for your kids. Unfortunately I was not able to do for my girls because the feminist family courts of Oregon have no respect for the fathers, so their mother got full custody after the divorce. But I have done what I could through the years to combat the socialist programming the schools put the kid through.

If I had retained custody of my kids I would have started homeschooling. The first year, sadly the only year, I had full custody they went to public schools, but I was learning what the rules were for homeschooling in Oregon and finding folks that would help me with subjects I knew I was no good with like math, and science. That was cut off when the POS judge ordered them back to their mother's home, and gave her full custody. I know real parenting like that is hard work, especially whenyou are having to go to work everyday and pay bills, but it certainly pays off for the kids in the long run, and even for the parents when they see their adult kids doing so much better in life for it.

Fair and balanced it certainly ain't!

It's as sad as FB trying to convince people they are censoring conservative voices in the name of fairness, and truth in posting. I have seen some of the most ridiculous reasons being made for their censorship. Like them censoring the Babylon Bee.
