Yes. Personal sphere of influence (SOI) can be personal garden. One can erect temple to God they want, one can take care of plants and animals in the garden. But a 15 year old who wants to change the world, but can't even care for their own garden should be quite. In the past that idea would not even an option because parents would give responsibility to the kid. Now they give a kid iPad and the kid gets brainwashed by MSM (Mainstream Media).

@Krunoslav It certainly is a problem that many people refuse to raise their children. These children flounder and many fall prey to those who seek to harm them.

My wife and I tried to focus our attention first upon fulfilling our own responsibilities then teaching our children to do the same, then helping extended family, friends and neighbors, then people within the church, work and organizations with which we were associated, then those who sought help/advise from us. This group would frequently expand or even contract. As our SOI expanded we usually became more effective/efficient, providing more “bandwidth” with which to handle a larger SOI. This took time and practice. There were times when we chose to pull back from this expanding SOI as it can become unmanageable. These were times of contraction.

When we retired, we naturally enjoyed a time of contracting SOI. This isn’t a bad thing. As our energy is decreased, we are still able to have a profound influence in high priority lives and issues. Getting older isn’t all fun and games, but it beats the alternative.

Apparently discipline or responsibility is something you have no clue about. I wonder why that is?

Disciplining your children is not the same as abusing them. Why is that even a thing to talk about? lol It should be obvious. But in case you missed the obvious message. Filling children head with lefty crap surely is abusive. And has no discipline attached to it. On the contrary, its about anything but responsible action.

That is why there are bunch of spoiled kids on the streets yelling dumb ass slogans for which they have no understanding off. If you concluded from my post that this is about satanism than you too, must haven been educated by bumper stickers.

@Krunoslav no, I didn't see any Satanism in your post. Just sharing my perspective, from my religion. I definitely think filling children's heads with lies and indoctrination is abuse, which is why I am against religious indoctrination of children, especially in public school - which is primarily Christian indoctrination in the US. Ditto with involving children in protests with signs and slogans, like you see when kids are dragged to pro-life rallies and Trump rallies.

@Krunoslav my religion is Satanism, yes. I am for the bodily autonomy of women, allowing them to make their own medical choices - if that means abortion, that is their decision. I have left-wing leanings on many subjects, and right-wing leanings on others. I am anti corruption, nepotism, bigotry, dog-whistles, and approaching an authoritative theocracy... so yes, I am anti Trump.

When a corrupt politician comes to power in Croatia, its just Tuesday, and not much in the media, when something happens in America, the rest of the world feels it. Its in media, its online in every social media platform, its in TV shows, in Movies, still exported mostly by America. Social Media on which many of us use for various reasons, is still mostly dominated by Silicon Valley, and American politics. And because trans-communism and the rest of the crap is all generated in America in the last 50 years and than exported to the rest of the world, it matters for others what happens in America.

The SJW crap is everywhere online and in pop culture, and not just in universities but its exported in EU, which Croatia is member of, its less so in Croatia than in some other countries, but that won't be for long if no one says, enough.
