While I agree “big tech” is censoring things I feel there is still also a slight victimhood mentality from conservatives as well when calling out every flagged post. like yeah it was fact checked for false information but let’s look at why? let’s look at the language being used because i know the belief is that the election was intentional fraud but we can only speculate that so let’s stop using that language. let’s talk about it a bit more truthfully and talk about the things we can prove not the things we can’t. we can prove the election was mishandled and has led to a number of irregularities. that doean’t prove fraud as much as many would like it to. now, perhaps in looking at the irregularities proof of actual fraud will be found but till then let’s not call it something it isn’t. it’s just helping big tech by jumping to these extreme unfounded words.

Sure when every idiot who bought into Trump Russia is banned for being a "threat to democracy" and a Russian bot.
If half the population is so stupid they can't see through the lies that were propagated during the course of the Mueller investigation and the phony impeachment then the crazy 10 percent of the " conservative" population isn't a threat to democracy. It really doesn't look like democracy is what the tech corporations are protecting.

Hello. Free speech doesn't mean that you can say anything you like. It still comes with responsibility. You are responsible for your own actions which include your utterances. It is irresponsible to spread rumours, speculations, unfounded doubts, etc. If that's what you are saying, then, I agree with you.

Nope! No one have the ultimate knowledge that's why everyone should be allowed to throw their 5 cents. Only by collecting every evidence (or clues), we can see the bigger picture and get to the truth! The "fact checking" is only based on the media authority and is no different than the "ministry of propaganda"!
sort of. what im getting at is we know they are looking to silence conservative voices and when the words being used are insinuating verifiable fraud of course they will silence it because that is not what has been confirmed. i get that is what conservatives believe happened but saying it just gives them an excuse to silence it. rather just go with what is know right now and just say there are a number of irregularities and just let fraud come out if it’s there. i also get there is a double standard and they let the Left get away with accusations being fact but as the old proverb goes, “two wrongs don't make a right”. be the better people and don't jump the gun and just say what we know to be true and they can't say is false without showing their hand. they can't really say irregularities are false without straight up lying but when they fraud is nit true they arent incorrect in fact checking that

@LukeGP my point is that we know they are looking to shut down conservative view points. so my point is don’t give them the opportunity. use language that they have no room but to show their hand if they fact check it as false. “fraud” can be said to be false as that is very hard to prove. “major irregularities” is a lot harder for them to call bs on since that is what they are and they can’t say that is false without shiwing their intent to just silence disenting views.

That may be sensible for Academia or the courts. People who allegedly got freedom of speech, you should be able to say what you want how you want to say it. Yes we are free to say what we want just as we are free to shoot ourselves in the foot, but we are not free from the consequences of our own actions. No one can protect us from ourselves.
