In a society with destructive, or historically-considered immoral values, meritocracy will boost those with aptitudes in such, creating a dysfunctional system. The society with beneficial, or historically-considered moral values, will boost those with aptitudes in such, creating a great system. I feel like America is a hybrid right now, heading in the negative direction, because of our increasingly eroding values. That all said, i hope the alternative being tacitly suggested here isn’t socialist, marxist intersectionalIty.... which is always (and provably) disastrous and immoral (both in ends and means).

The problem is that people are just extremely apathetic to the solution to post-humanism: humanism. Love, arts, empathy, etc. Everybody is way to addicted to instant gratification as a pain killer with their cell phones. And true virtue requires strength. Strength requires effort. The ultimate solution is bringing principles back: those values that are to be kept loyal to before anything else. Honesty. Humility. Fuck, I always forget the third one... There's a third one I consider to be part of the triad... shit lol
