The MSM and social media have been anti conservative for 13+ years. They rarely covered Trump in a positive light in the years leading up to Trump winning 2016, yet he still won.

Both Trump and Hillary weren't seen very positively past their base. I voted for neither in 2016. MSM and social media doubled down on Trump these last 4 years as well as extended their criticisms to Trumps avid supporters and gradually more demonizing of Republicans in general. With the help of nearly all of Hollywood, "Never Trumpers" like "The Lincoln Project", and other Republican governments representatives, there was a lot working against Trump. Even with all of that, I still voted for Trump 2020.

I think this election process itself was at the very least inaccurate and I would not be suprised if these voter fraud accusations are true. However, I still believe it was close, because of one event alone: COVID.

An unfortunate truth is that America has struggled with health care, health care reform, and health care expense and availability for decades. It's something that every president has passed off to the next president to mess with more. In NYC, where a few of my family members were at the start of the year and have since moved, hospitals were already overwhelmed and understaffed before COVID. I don't place the blame on Trump, and he did send military and supplies for support, but the aftermath was nightmarish. Health care in the broader sense became a huge topic that everyone pinned on Trump, and Govenor Cuomo was hailed by MSM while covering up his own mismanagement.

200,000+ deaths, continually ticking upward on MSM "COVID alert screens", nearly every effort made and task team advance was highly scrutinized. Clips of Trump calling it a hoax, suggestions that a disinfectant injection may work, calling it "kung-flu", the infamous mask battle, getting COVID, still having rallys, were constantly referenced. Nearly every interview, press conference, and debate was focused around COVID and made to make Trump out to be the issue.It was repeated over and over.

I think if COVID never happened Trump would have won without doubt, despite all the lack of bad Biden press and constant anti Trump press. I also think if Hillary had been president instead, and having to deal with COVID, despite the expected good press, she would have been a one term president. I would have expected FOX and other right wing media would have had that same death count ticket on their screens. It's the nature of our highly partisan media. The left just has more.
