Basically, if you believe that public funding should prioritize native occupants of a country - the ones whose taxes create the public funding - above immigrants (legal or otherwise) to that country, you're a "nativist" and should be shamed and ridiculed. Biden on Day One issued an executive order to undo Trump's order to not include illegal immigrants in the census for the purposes of distributing federal dollars by population. In short, your public funding will be decreased in order to send more funds to sanctuary states that welcome illegal immigration in spite of it being - you know - against the law.
It's like they're not even trying to hide their apathy for you any longer.

100%. Words like, nativism, populism, and even nationalism have been falsely twisted into something equivalent to racism. The hard left has been controlling the language, largely through the educational system and the media, for several generations, and whoever controls the language controls the agenda.
What is the difference? Will the M unemployed be magically employed if he doesn't grant the M immigrants citizenship? How does that work? Do our M unemployed citizens even want the kinds of jobs that immigrants (new legal or illegal) get?

No one knows. It’s likely that the US will go back to the pre-Trump practice of lots of talk and no change.
The core issue is the battle between the vision of secure borders, national sovereignty and citizenship with rights and responsibilities vs. open borders, globalism, and rights for anyone who shows up. The latter now takes precedence.
@GeeMac 100-day halt on deportations, reassessment of asylum procedures, reevaluation of ICE strategies...I read more about this subject. I'm not arguing for Biden (I have no reason to take sides in American politics), but it doesn't seem to be the case that Biden is going to grant all the illegal immigrants with citizenship as the meme suggests. I don't know why many people are keen to circulate such memes. I guess truth and facts are boring.
@Naomi Good research. You’re right in assuming truth and facts are boring. They are. That’s why so few people engage in policy discussion. It’s hard work. Unfortunately we live in a world of memes and sound bites, which fail to tell the whole story, but at least get people’s attention. Politicians are masters at this.
On the veracity of the meme above, it would be 100% impossible for any leader to grant amnesty to the millions of people who have settled illegally in the US. However, for the powerful left wing of the Democratic Party, granting full citizenship to each and every illegal is the started goal.
