I am not disturbed that she was fired. Frankly, as much as I agree with Gina Carano and enjoyed her character on the Mandalorian, A) Disney has every right to fire a public facing employee that does not represent the company in the way Disney wishes, and B) Gina has known for some time now that she was flirting with disaster (ya'll know what I mean?) and could've/should've stopped if she wished to stay employed by LucasFilm. Clearly, her activism was more important than her job, and hey, more power to her.

What angered me was the mischaracterization of what she said as something anti-Semitic. Several outlets reporting on the story said Gina "essentially said" that conservatives have it just as bad today as Jews did in WWII. That is NOT what she said. It's not even close. But that's the narrative being pushed in the media today to justify her firing.

This is what she said:

Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers, but by their neighbors...even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don't realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different than hating someone for their political views?

Now you are free to apply whatever personal interpretation you wish to this. Me personally? I see it as a warning to those who think that vilifying, censoring, canceling a demographic of people as something that's appropriate, should probably be better students of history. I do NOT interpret this as "conservatives having it worse than the Jews in WWII," and only in as messed up a social media situation as we have today, could this even be considered the truth. I suppose it helps when she gets canceled, her message taken down, and the people who control the narrative can say whatever they want about what she's said. I myself have had two comments I made about the false narrative quietly deleted from their respective platforms.

If you're going to damn me, then at least damn me for who I am, not what you pretend me to be in order justifying destroying me.

The only reason she was fired was because she never bent the knee to the Transperverts. They've been harassing her for months about putting her pronouns in her profile, it has nothing to do with anything she posted, that was just an excuse.

Progressives... CANNOT TOLERATE DISSENT.... EVER....
