He's simply stating preliminary information about the suspect - had “an issue with porn” and “was attempting to take out that temptation.” I certainly didn't read that as Baker rationalizing the shootings, but Zakaria did. White Supremacy Derangement Syndrome (WSDS), I suppose; to infer bigotry from otherwise innocuous statements (see ItsOkayToBeWhite ).
