Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.My poor old dad raised twelve children, all turned out good. we had a nice home, and a car. we always had lots to eat. there were no fancy clothing, and we didnt belong to any clubs. my parents would not accept anything that they did not earn themselves. today it is they want more and more and all kids are running around with a cell phone at age six. live within your means.

Well that has got a lot to do with it but I think it is wage theft by big business that is the problem. CEO's getting million workers struggling. Not balanced.
apprentice in a trade. get payed to learn, graduate to journeyman with money in the bank instead of a mortgaged education in the hole. learn a skill that can’t be outsourced. by the time your friends graduate from college it will take them 10 years to make as much as you did in 2. by the time they do catch up to you wage wise they still can’t buy a house because their student loans are too high, and by the time they feel ready to have kids they will be shooting blanks or their eggs will be dried up... all because they didn’t have the confidence to believe that their intuition was better than that of a miserable old drunk commie college professor who bought the same lie a generation before

I am trying to get my son to do an apprenticeship but he wants to go to uni
My grandparents were considered poor. They still could afford a small house ( very small, no indoor bathroom), a small cabin in the woods, a small boat (extra food from fishing) a car and a refrigerator (a huge deal back then). All on one income, no social security, grampa was a carpenter, grandma spent her day bottling food and boiling soup. I have more technology, they had way more freedom, way more stuff and way more financial security. And they were so much more happy.

@Beachslim no it is giving money or tax breaks to the same businesses ruining the environment. Not the poor that are the problem. Secondary I am not advocating communism. Quite the opposite I think this lockdown on off cycle is extreme. It seems the world is following the technocrats to there own detriment.
