So my mom texts me today to let me know shes going to visit my grandparents who we havent seen since summer (which mind you was still during the pandemic and it was perfectly fine to see each other then). so we went through thanksgiving, Christmas, and now Eaater without being with family and i know where all of them line up with the vaccine and because they’ all have the vaccine they’ll all hang out but because i don’t im not invited. yes im back to working but it would not have been hard to get off to go had i been asked so they can’t even say thst’s why i wasn’t invited. it clearlybis just im not vaccinated. but this got me thinking. they are all vaccinated so they are all safe even if im carrying it, right? and they should t be carrying it to give it to me and even if they can be, so what? that’s my problem not theirs. i don't intend to nor would i blame them if i got sick. and if they are worried they could still get it because im not vaccinated then what was the vaccine even for?

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.like my thing is if you want to get it fine but like if you are going to pester me to get it than actually have a valid reason for me to do so. me getting sick or not is up to me so if im willing to risk getting sick to see you that should be my choice not yours. and if its about you getting sick from me not being vaccinated then what was the vaccine in the first place since the the vaccines are meant to keep you from getting it. sounds to me as if if you can still get it its a waste of a time and money to get it. let’s just wait for something that actually does the job, especially when the actual chances of death from the virus are so low and the vaccine could have equally bad side effects. with how quick it was pushed out we don't even know yet. that’s not to discount the achievement that is the vaccine and where it’s at, it is still much further along than any vaccine typically is at this point but that doesn’t mean it’s perfect and 100% safe yet.

First off, Covid ~ its not a vaccine, its an inoculation.
You would logically think that being 'vaccinated' they would be immune from contagion, but apparently they are not, thus they (the establishment) warns of continuing to wear masks and social distancing, unless you are participating in a liberal non-pathogenic event, peaceful protest or something...
