Or the more likely case, Lindell is lying and wasn't hacked. He is claiming he was hacked so he can delay the symposium, rile out outrage with his base, and continue to delay presenting his "evidence". No different than someone Tweeting out something awful and claiming to be hacked as an excuse.
A DDOS attack is easily verifiable. Put an IP sniffer at the server and you can see all traffic (packets)

The site wanted my email and phone number so no. This was so obviously going to be a target for DOS and doxxing.
