It may sound insensitive, but that was a small price all things considered.
And really it says more about our proxies in the region than it does the withdrawal.
@WilyRickWiles The mission "crept" from getting non-military and allies out FIRST, with military out last. They had an approachable and defensible facility at Bagram which was closed down at the worst possible time.
We left just huge amounts of materiel and ordnance which, at the very least can be sold. France, the Dutch, the Brits went in country to get their people out. We didn't. We weren't even SUPPOSED TO LEAVE unless and until the components of the agreement w/ the Taliban were met, which they weren't.
We didn't even load our service and bomb sniffing dogs.
These are not obscure factoids. It's all over the place. This is a cluster.
Now, back to the main point. Ann Coulter needs to get laid and calm down.

It isn't as though people are machines that "work right" until they need fixed. Coulter said many things that I've agreed with. She's also been wrong many times.
I'm not a machine. I'm not broken or fixed by my assessment that she's wrong on this. Any action can be the Right Action, but done the Wrong Way.
The floor may need cleaned, but you don't put your dog in a bucket of Fabuloso and scrub the floor with him. You don't drown the dog to scrub the floor.

What function do you think the US military was providing? How was it damaged during Biden's withdrawal? I find it hard to imagine it going any better than it did.
Biden's puppet masters more likely. Plus they did it in the most damaging way possible.

Only neocons object to getting US forces out of Iraq per se. Many who support getting them out, however, object to Biden's shambolic way of doing it.

I only take issue with his overwrought justifications. Would be nice if we hadn't massacred children on the way out too.
Also would be nice if he ended the GWOT and forever drone wars.
