Restaurants asking customers to wear shoes and shirts are complicit with segregation. Restaurants enforcing formal attire dress codes are complicit with segregation. Pubs / bars requiring proof of age 21 to enter are complicit with segregation.

@Tom81 sorry, but you're the one here with a laughable attempt. You are comparing apples and oranges, with a classic False Equivalency Fallacy. No, "whites only" vs" vaxxed only" is not the same, as you are trying to equate immutable and mutable characteristics. The Civil Rights Act set up non-discrimination laws based on these immutable characteristics, or "protected" classes, which includes race, religion, sexual orientation, age, etc. Vaccination status is not one of these. This falls more into a public health situation, which is 100% equal to no shoes no service. Private businesses are allowed to conduct themselves how they wish, and if they want to require vaccination to enter, that is their right - just as it is their right to have dress codes and age minimums, or even membership exclusivity. Do you go to private country clubs and complain about their membership policies? What's more, a lot of these places aren't forcing vaccines, even for entry - they also accept recent negative tests. You may not care if you are walking around spreading a virus, but what about the rights of the poorly paid staff who needs to wait on you, and would prefer not to get even remotely sick.

We have literally have Texas lawyers trying to make consenting sexual contact with a member of the same sex illegal, and you are complaining about not being allowed in an Applebees. Do you equally complain about virtue signaling places that claim they refuse to serve vaccinated people, or Biden voters?
