Other than Hopis living in Hoteville or Old Oraibi, I don't believe Native Americans long for the Old Ways. Even those Hopis have big trucks and use telephones to talk with their lobbyist. Not criticizing, just stating the facts as I observed them back in the mid 1980s. I also don't believe there's 1 in 10,000 of the indigenous people caravaning to America who want to purify this continent of Western Civilization and modern life. They want to have cars, indoor plumbing, Facebook, predictable justice, medicines that work, and money. The only people who want indigenous people to live like their pre-Columbian ancestors are affluent white liberals.

European farming could support a population density 50 times that of Native American hunter-gatherers. With European farming, there's plenty of land for everyone. Many Indians embraced farming and prospered.
As a hunter-gatherer, life sucks without a horse. Horses expanded the range of Indian hunters.
Custer's army had 50 Sioux warriors fighting on its side.
Europeans introduced animal farming, individual land ownership, and security. If you like your buffalo, you can keep your buffalo.
The Indian wars ended with the Oklahoma land rush. Everyone got 160 acres, both whites and Indians. Everyone got busy farming.
America provided a market for Indians, to buy their buffalo and pelts.

Neither do I naively believe that the bulk of illegal migrants have good intentions towards Americans. They are military age men who can make a fortune in the drug trade, theft rings, and human smuggling. But they don't intend to spend the loot financing a return to an ancient lifestyle without a trace of European culture and conveniences.
Also, not one Primitive living zone has been created by the super-wealthy tribes with big casinos.
