A critique on Santa Inc.
I have not watched Santa Inc., I have only seen a few clips from it. I think I will pass on watching it. It looks pretty childish, as though Seth and Sarah, or whoever wrote it, never really grew up.
It's a far cry from the satire of Jonathon Swift's "Gulliver's Travels" which was an intelligent commentary upon the socio/political pettiness and ironies of the time.
It looks to me that Santa Inc. is just intended to turn make-believe into something ugly. Since their whole industry concerns itself with selling make-believe. It is a rather self-destructive path. They should be shunned by their fellow purveyors of make-believe but it seems the whole industry is on a fast track to obsolescence. Their customers can of course see they are destroying dreams and imagination. This is an unimaginative creation -let's face it, it is a rather banal and redundant sophomoric re-creation we have heard from low-brow curmudgeons for centuries.
What they will do is claim that their imagined creations are reality and not imagination at all. They will be diverse, equitable and inclusive. Sounds more like a contemporary political objective they have bought into than a creative endeavor. The idea that entertainment creates reality has bitten on the stick of political propaganda like the obedient little puppy it has become.

These are not religious Jews and they do not practice any form of strict Judaism. They should not be lumped into all other Jews because many Jews are disgusted by these cretin.
One thing this movie does is it exposes those Jews who HATE Christianity and despise the country that has given them their wealth and opportunities
