Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Not long ago I was talking with my youngest and a friend of her's about the CIA being in the movie business writing propagandist movie scripts. Just watched on movie featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000 that was just that, a CIA script meant to scare the general public into accpeting millions going into financing nuclear weapons with a script about Russia hitting New York with a bomb. They have gotten better at this technique by hiring more talented writers and using our tax dollars to hire known actors rather than using some of their less necessary employees to star in their propaganda productions.

Yes. Today is probably even more overt than it was before and less sophisticated, probably because they are getting complacent. Similar to putting product ads in the films , by various corporations. It used to be subtle now its so overt, it just flat out says who finance the production as one giant commercial. lol Same is with sex. It used to be sexual innuendos, the new films would not know what an innuendo is, but they sure know what OnlyFans is. This does not make it more persuasive, I think, just shows hubris in more visible way. Along with it, standards have been replaced with race to the bottom.
