Well they can an A for effort on trying to make a good point but yeah, pretty sure this doesnt really help make the argument they think it does. the fact that anyone can become a teacher doesnt effect the point children need in person learning not because of the teachers but socialization skills which is why people are saying we need to get back to it not because they need to be in person to learn the curriculum. what this does prove is that they are just admitting public education is basically a sham and no real learning is being done because it doesn’t matter who yoi put in front of the classroom so long as they can teach to the test and babysit your kids. Good lick trying to tell me how hard being a teacher is when this is what your going with. sorry to the good teachers who ACTUALLY care out there, I’m not attacking you but the system that want tonsay how hard the field is. yes when you are one of the teachers who cares i think it can be and you deserve a raise but I’m sorry you aren't the norm. it’s the ones who want their paid summers off and hust teach to the test for an easybpay check and then complain they aren’t paid enough I’m talking about. sorry the profession is not the hardest one out their, at least in regards to what is expected of you not when you care and go above and beyond.

Like all government entities they like to create lists and check mark off lists. Quality and efficiency don’t matter. They don’t care how much schools cost or how well they educate. Rather: hours provided, days open, meals provided, tests given check check done.

agreed. Like prisons, schools are nothing more than money factory's.
We allow for homeschooling, which is quite often done by devout religious families - so it's pretty much always been that any adult can be a teacher.

I had non-religious friends homeschool their kids back in the early 2000s. I didn’t understand it then but now I do.
@Beachslim no I don't what? And I didn't say only religious people - I said religious people often do it. That doesn't imply they do it more or less than any other group.
