$29,712,043,795,472 as of 1 Jan 2022, as the policies not yet fully dismantled by Trump, and then accelerated by Biden and his Democrat Congress are operating.

2022 dollar GDP increased 8.1 percent at an annual rate, or $446.0 billion, in the third quarter to a level of $23.19 trillion.

Given that by definition the government multiplier is 1, (the private sector multiplier is two in horrible years and 8 in our best years) the GDP will never provide enough to pay down the debt, without taxing every man, woman and child $87,388.36, for nothing in return. Or every wage earner $371,400.55 for nothing in return. For those of us struggling with our mortgage - just about everyone, a debt like that would mean bankruptcy. And that’s what it means to the nation.

What happens in bankruptcy? You lose everything to pay your creditors, then your debt is forgiven and you live with austerity, because no one will loan you anything anymore.

What does that mean in the World? While we are living in austerity, with China owning everything we use and practically every business we buy from, they are promoting their currency as more trustworthy. But the greater danger is the Great Reset folks who will promote bitcoin and probably win, meaning the people of the US become slaves to them for the future of forseeable generations. Brilliant.

The National debt was $14,791,536,366,149 as of 1 Jan 2012, after Obama and the Democrat Congress, who doubled the debt accumulated in the entire history of the US before that.

Why? Because they believe securing power is most important, and that they will be long gone when the bill comes due, and they are right, aren’t they? They will have bought off most of the illegals, institutionalized poverty as the great sugar daddies, and bought off an army of Deep Staters in the judicial, law enforcement and military to protect them from ever being charged in their lifetime, with treason.

Why are many Republicans defecting? They see the public putting up with all of that, and realize that standing for the principles of the Constitution, that at one time protected all our rights from the tyranny of things like an Administrative State, might be political suicide in the short term.
