I’d rather see a Ron DeSantis - Candace Owen ticket. But that’s just an off the cuff idea.
@Daveclark5 I love Candace Owens. She is smart as a whip and full of common sense, and courage. I don't think she would be a good fit for POTUS or Vice POTUS because she is not trained or educated on matters of economics, foreign policy, diplomacy. I think Candace would be an excellent member on the Presidents advisory board. There surely would be a place for her somewhere in the Executive Branch...but alas, not VP or POTUS.
@iThink Sounds like the same things they said about Trump before he became President. As it turned out, the only one of those things he did poorly at was, ironically, the economics portion.
You may be right about her, but she has shown resilience and incredible insight for her age. It is likely she has a lot of mentoring coming from an unknown source though (which might make her dangerous.
I wouldn’t want to put her directly into the POTUS position, but with time serving under the mentor ship of DeSantis, she might have a lot of potential.
@Daveclark5 oh yes Candace has a LOT of potential already. I know whatever spot they might find for her in our fantasy Presidency she will catch on fast and do well. I just don't see her as a VP really. I think she would be an invaluable advisor on domestic policy. I do hope we win the '24 election and seeing Candace take a position there would be so satisfying.
As a Floridian, I’d hate to lose DeSantis as our Governor. However, as an American, I’d vote for DeSantis before any other candidate. There are some good possibilities out there on the right, but none holds a candle to DeSantis (including Trump, who should put all his considerable weight behind a DeSantis presidency). And there are exactly ZERO good candidates on the left. IMO.
