I went through 45 minutes of this and I find this man to be biased, he had not one positive thing to thing to say about Putin, not one. Every reference to Putin was negative. I would be curious to know what his political affiliation would be and wonder what his opinion he has of Trump. Never mind at 49 minutes on his version of the 2016 election confirmed it.
@FEWI The expansion of NATO. The USA reneging on this. Russia wanting to join NATO and being refused membership. The history of invasions of Russia. All this is left out. Ukraine is a knife at the throat of Russia. Russia warned that Ukraine was a step too far. They pushed, Putin reacted. The rest is bullshit.
@GaryWitt @FEWI @adriaan23 According to Putin (and I was going to share the YT link but the video got taken down apparently, of him succinctly & briefly explaining in @ 2 minutes ) NATO had promised no eastward expansion beyond a certain point. That if it fought as a NATO member then all of them would be dragged into conflict in a blink of an eye. Very heavy handed intimidation being predicated.
Next, he asked how would the US feel if Russian missiles were on the border between Canada & the US or Mexico & the US? Historically, they have had regional conflicts in America. No different than the taking of California from Mexico, or Texas for that matter; but Russia has to deal with much more modern issues of safety & security.
So, my take on it all at the moment is: VP Khlamydia Harris, when she went to on her 1st trip to Europe and it allegedly being a peace mission with demands & no compromise, said, that Russia was destroying 70 years of peace and blah blah blah cackle cackle cackle....had no knowledge of anything there. Complete ignorance of the 1st European war of the 21st century and the proceeding incursion to stop civil war in Georgia, immediately following the collapse of the Soviet Union. My guess is she had no comprehensive understanding of Kosovo or totally unaware of the reality of it, including US meddling in the internal affairs then.
